Accomplishments
Athletically speaking, I would consider myself somewhat accomplished, but I know the best is yet to come. My greatest accomplishments and successes are before me…………not behind me!
- 2007- Ford Ironman Coeur D’ Alene (June 24th, 2007)
- 2007- Placed 6th in the 25th Anniversary Wildflower Half Ironman in California
- 2007- Qualified for the USA Triathlon Championships in September of ‘07
- 2006- Placed second at the Soma Half Ironman in my age group.
- 2006- Placed first in the Jordanelle Triathlon (Olympic distance Triathlon)
- 2004- On the USA Jr. World Mountain Running Team in Sauz O’doux, Italy.
- 2004- Awarded “Best of State” for cross country.
- 2003- State 5A cross country champion, as a junior.
- 2003- Region II cross country champion (fastest all-time record for juniors)
- 2002- Placed 3rd in the 2-mile at State as a freshman.
My next big event will be the 2010 St. George Ironman that will be held next May. I’m shooting to qualify for the Kona Ironman held in Hawaii!!! Kona…………here I come!!!!
I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us up to heaven!!
